Meet the Beacon Lights Staff
The Beacon Lights staff is responsible for production of the magazine on a monthly basis. The magazine and its staff are organized under and overseen by the Federation Board of the Protestant Reformed Young People’s Societies.
Tyler Kamps
Editor-in-Chief
As editor-in-chief, Tyler is responsible for editorial policy. He is also responsible for the editorial column and the general direction of the magazine.

Business Manager
Tyler manages the finances and subscriptions for the Beacon Lights. Any questions regarding your subscription, donation, or the Scholarship Fund can be directed to Tyler!
Ashley Mulder
Archivist
As Archivist, Ashley keeps track of our ever-growing Archives and manages the uploading of past and present issues to the website.
Brad DeVries
Managing Editor
Brad is the managing editor, responsible for presiding at our staff meetings and for assisting the editor in carrying out their duties.
Clara Kaptein
Secretary
Clara is the Beacon Lights secretary, whose duties include taking minutes at all meetings and managing the publication's correspondence.
Aubrey Hoekstra
Promotions Manager
As Promotions Manager, Aubrey is responsible for increasing awareness of the magazine inside and outside the PR churches. She also manages our social media accounts, including Facebook and Instagram.
Gabe Overbeek
Contributing Writers Correspondent
As one of our Contributing Writers Correspondents, Gabe is responsible for finding writers and articles for the various rubrics and for proposing new rubrics, articles, and writers.
